The Story
Recitare (from the Latin recitāre: to read aloud) is a study platform that turns your documents into audio and helps you learn with AI-powered tools.
Recitare was born from a real problem. I'm a PhD student with a reading list that never gets shorter. Articles, books, papers piling up while my time keeps shrinking. I want to listen to them during my commute, at the gym, while cooking. But the existing solutions were overpriced, overcomplicated, and designed to trap you.
So I started building the tool I wished existed. Something simple. Something honest. Something that respected both your time and your wallet.
The founder: first-year PhD student, drawn in his natural habitat. The reading pile was too tall for a photoshoot.
